Welcome, I'm Tanya M. Watler better known as M!SCRE8. I'm a self taught professional Urban Artists. I went back to college in 2013 graduated with a bachelor degree in Graphic Design Fine Arts. I've instructed workshops and curated of serval art events over the years. I specialize in murals, paintings, wearable art, and illustrations, I'm the happy owner of Lil' Art Bodega Creative is a full range Urban Art Design Company from a women of color.
I'm a native New Yorker, As a women of color I grew up drawing and hustling art on streets of Harlem, since 90's. In 2010, I decided to relocate and sort out my passion for art in the state of Nevada, and Viva Las Vegas became my second home. I’ve been crafting my style of mixing graffiti, abstract art and old school cartoons, on clothing, walls, buildings, stairs and canvases for years. My art is to visually cultivate your feeling of joy, smiles and laughter to the causal viewer.
MISCRE8 style of urban art is composed of a base layer then several layers backgrounds consisting of abstract colors, concepts, graffiti style tagging of positive wording with hand drawn, hand painted original characters. The Hiphop and Pop culture figures sometimes are stencil style placements on top of layer art. My tools of choice are pencils, markers, cans, acrylics, house paint, epoxy, paste. My computer style is often use for my mix media art, graphic designs t-shirts, and illustrations making my unorthodox style appealing to me and others. The final art work is a mixture of urban love with a feel good juxtapose style.
My impressive body of artwork consists of murals installations, illustrations and more for corporate and private clients , convention exhibits, interactive festival installations. And several gallery exhibit solo and group shows, pop ups and classes has been remarkable, and appreciative.
"The love of me leaving my mark on society is not to criticize, cause controversy, but to make all ages smile, laugh and feel good. We as a society have forgotten how to feel good, and love our selves first. My inspiration for art is to inspire your smile."
